About 20yrs. ago I put a bus tranny with the reduction gear boxes into my 62 Baja bug. The adaptors that I made then, didn't hold up very good. Now I have a set of adaptors that VW used in the Thing. I had to make my own spring plates, right now with the spring plate against the lower stop, the axle tube is level. I need to notch the plates a little more, so I'm not riding on the stops. What should the max. positive camber be set at for a swing axle? I use the car for on and off-roading.
