| It's a kit. Steering column and E brake are not Porsche. More pictures would help, but I bet you it is the Intermeccanica "tube steel" kit. |

It's a kit.
Met the owner/builders at Bug-In. Was also shown a few weeks later at Knott's Kit Car show. If I remember right, its a Vintage Speedsters kit, home built, with a CB Turbo engine, and a narrowed rear end to get those big meats under the fenders without having to go with flares.

It's a kit.
No self respecting Porschephile would put those wheels on a real Speedster. Also the dash pad is way too modern.
Type 1 turbo engine... no way. Type 547 4 Cam... way.
And the "designer" interior os way to Beverly Hills  |

| Hey guys You can always tell a kit by the thickness of the body behind the front wheels The real car will only be like a 1/16 in thick where the kit cars will be almost a 1/2 in thick later and have fun Mark Dearing |

Most kit owners shave that panel down or paint it black half-way across. |

Dead giveaway is the side trim is straight (supposed to be bent), the Aluminum windscreen frame (should be Chromed Brass) and the steering wheel. You got to have an authentic VDM banjo. But it does look clean.
The Vintage replica's are junk. The right side front fender bubbles out, while the left side is nice and smooth. Kirk (Vintage Speedsters) needs to get a new mold and fix that problem. Intermecchanica's are much higher in quality. But you get what you pay for. Vintage built cars start at $22k. Intermecchanicas start at $38k and can sky rocket to over $60k with all the cool options. |

Sorry about the confusion, whenever peolpe ask I say it's a 57 speedster. The conversation when saying its a kit car gets really boring. If I were to do these fabrications to a real one I would probably get sentenced to prision. Anyway the car is almost done, still got a couple of things to sort out, it is a Vintage Kit, fuel injecteion 2332 hybrid turbo set up, the works. 325hp. Dont want anyone to think I am frontin
