| So I've got a little hole rusted through on my crossover pipe right on the inside of the sharp bend (just like every other crossover I've ever seen). So my questions is: is there any way to patch it, it's a pretty small hole, maybe fit a finger through it. Or am I better off getting one from a junkyard? I was kind of thinking of some epoxy putty or something. |

Epoxy will melt or just not hold because of the heat. If its a rust hole the surrounding steel is more than likely thin and it's going out anyway.
The best way to fix it if you had good metal is the old welder.
They used to sell exhaust "tape" when I lived up north, you wrapped it around your rusty exhaust and it might buy you a few more months out of it.
Check out your local auto parts place. |

I am guessing about $50 or so.
Not a bad deal when you figure that a new one is damn near impossible to find. |
