| it's green/white, located on the driver side of the engine compartment, and comes out of the group that includes the 3 oxygen sensor wires and the 4 injector wires. I was looking in the engine compartment, and noticed that the wire is not connected to anything and has been taped up. Any clue? |

| :D If your van has air conditioning, that wire sends a signal to the computer when you turn the A/C on, and then the computer will raise the idle RPM. if you don't have A/C, leave it alone, but if you do have A/C, there should be a conector by the plug at the compressor....  |

its an 87, and it does have AC, and I did notice that there is a receptical for the wire on the AC compressor. Mystery solved, I wonder why its not connected, and could this be related to the symptoms of vanagon syndrome. I'll connect it up and see!
Thanks for all your responses |

Wierd, I think I have the same wire. I thought it was a left over from the PO's aftermarket cruise control.
:?
And I have A/C (And it works, except for a missing belt and a low charge..) |
