Anyone hear of the new Porsche slated for 2008?
A 4 door 8 cylinder sedan?!?!
Can't wait till december to see what it may look like.

You would have thought that market was too crowded already. What does Porsche hope to prove with high-end sedan production? :?

They'll still sell more of those then the more traditional Porsches, same as the Cayenne. As much as I hate those things I'd rather Porsche remain a true car company then just a brand for a giant multi-national.

It's always better to one thing and do it right than to attempt to do many things as well. Porsche is creating their own problems I'm afraid. :?

well you know porsche...always comin up with questions that no-one wants answered!!! gotta love the Cayman S though(300 hp, 3.4 litre boxter coupe). in my view the Cayman S is more of a traditional porsche than the current 911 which has become a big grand tourer rather than a sports car...well i bet you didnt know that the panamera might have a v10 engine option from the carrera gt!!! i suppose it should be no big shock that they want to build a 4 door ...they're already doing it!!!!!i think Porsche is considering a 2 door 928 succesor also...lets hope they scrap the 4 door and go for that option then... :D that wouldn't be so bad...as much as i love the cayenne turbo, one day sales will start to drop...maybe theyll scrap that one too. i heard a rumor of a cheaper car than the boxter also...dunno about that though...anyway, hope Porsche's future isn't a bad one...

I WAS a Porsche fan before I got into VWs. I must say, the only porsche I have liked since 93 is the boxster. All of their other cars look like shit. I can't even imagine what a 4 door porsche would look like.
