Howdy. I'm wondering if I can use the 2000cc engine from a 412 in a vw bug? I've got a '60 bug and access to the engine. The bellhousing has already been modified for a 12v flywheel. Does anyone know which carb would work well?

This conversion is possible but if you have a 2.0 engine, I would guess it is probably originally from a bus. We do not advocate sacrificing 412's for the engines around here so watch your back :lol: .

I was there. My goal was to drive one of my VW's but I ran out of money :cry: to get it going in time. Scored some good parts though. Right hand drive pedal assembly for $40 and an old school tinted visor for $40.
