Can anybody tell me anything about this engine?

This project van ain't too far from me, but I am one of those "subaru" guys, and can't find jack about this 8v engine. Hmm, Bill W or any inline fans- any words on this one? |

| I see it.I don't see the intake hose,or an injection system.I think CIS injection is the best and most trouble free system. That thing looks like DIGIFANT 2. That brain isn't set for a vanagon load. It works but not as well as CIS. Price is good in any case. If it were near me I'd buy it. |

| there's lots of pages of info in the type2.com library. as far as getting the electronics for it i would recomend getting it in its entirety off a running jetta or golf (the cis route is probably the best way to go) and transfering over to your vehicle. i made the mistake of collecting parts and when i put it all together it was a pain to diagnose because i didn't have any one part that i knew was working 100% to go off of. |

| Use a 1.8 large valve head and an early 2.0 block w/a vacc advance dist. or you will need to make your own mount plate for the dist. CIS rocks, air goes in________fuel spits out :D |
