I need to buy a new pump for my water tank. I have aftermarket wiring so i have choices. What should I buy? In-line or go with the submerged pump? What do you have and why?
I had a submerged which the PO had installed and burned out. |

| A new pump was installed in mine awhile back by the PO, it's an outside the tank one. All I've had to do way mount it better. Check at marine or RV places for a universal pump, you may get a better deal than an OEM pump. |

I installed the Gowesty blue (like OE) pump six?? years ago in the '85, no problem. Just this last month, I decided to order one from Bus Depot. It looks OK and it works fine, but it's smaller and its black. Dont look OE, and I really like things original or OEM. The blue one was made in germany I think, the black one, the peoples republic of china. Same price???
Citizens of germany live in nice houses/apartments and drive nice cars or have good public transportation. China...hmmmmm? |
