wher eis the factory location for the ground strap on a 1958/59 Beetle?
I was under my car and can't find it on eithehr side.

Hi Jack,
Which ground strap are you looking for? The battery to body strap or the tranny to body strap?

| i am talking about the transmission to chassis. i guess i wa slooking to the far back of that location..maybei need to look again |

Hi Jack,
That would be on one of the body studs the tranny nose cone is bolted to. The other end is on one of the studs that mounts the nose cone to the tranny center section.
