I've been waiting for the pics myself. I wish the seller would hurry up. If I don't get anything by tonight, I'm driving up there first thing tomorrow & beat vintagevolks to the sale since he can't make it till the weekend :D

Hey guys, I am the one with the bug up for sale. Actually I didn't plan on putting the bug up for sale - I went to the junkyard after seeing "Pez's" post to see what it looked like. My wife had a fit and insisted we bring it home. After looking at it - we kinda decided it might only be a donor for the ragtop - which is very salvageable. But I took the car over to a buddy of mine's and he suggested that I at least offer to someone who could restore it. He felt like there might be a "metal god" who could restore it. So then we got to feeling guilty about possibly cutting it up.

So that is when I posted it on the Samba for sale, the restoration project is far beyond my expertise. Brad
