I just put in my new cut and turned front beam and am having problems getting the torsion rods back in. I am able to get all but one of the half size rods in. It is the half rod on the upper stack of rods. Does anyone know the effect of leaving the one half rod out?

Thanks

Bob

i'm not familiar with the leaf layout of the balljoint beam, but a trick is to put the outtermost leaves in first, then wedge the inside leaves inbetween those.

Try to put them all in then put that one in last. I ended up having to pound mine in. You can also put a small bevel on the end of the bars with a grinder so they slip into place. If I remember the balljoint is a pain because where the bars enter the arms it is not square, its like steps so each bar has got to go in its place.

I have had good luck binding the leafs together with electrical tape, and then running a file over the ends to ad a slight bevel.

The balljoint beams are a pain to get the leafs in. I did what nick suggested and ground a bevel on the edge and then tapped it in.
