| I just had my pedal assembly replaced by a mechanic, now I can't get full throttle. The cable is not streached and seems tight enough. I think with the new pedal assembly, the pedal arm just doesn't go forward enough when I step on the gas. Can I file the stop down on the back of the pedal roller assembly to get the throttle to open more? |

No, you should not file it. Adjust it at the carburetor where the cable hooks up. There should be a screw to loosen, then move the cable rearward a little a a time, say 1/8", tighten the screw and try it. If you get to the point that it idles too high and the idle screw is off the stop then you'll have to back off the cable and look for another problem.
Good Luck,
