Is there an easier way to remove these? I wind up cutting the rusted nuts(I think that's what they were) off. After removing the manifold I usually tap them a few times with hammer, clean with a wire brush on my grinder, lube profusely(this doesn't seem to help), let sit a while and then heat with a small mapp/oxegon torch. Then I put vice grips on it and hope for the best while gently turning out and then in. Maybe my torch is not big enough. You have to be carry not to burn some things(Ihaven't found any gas leaks yet). I don't get it cherry.
I have had to drill out two of the five I have attempted. |

Why not use a stud extractor? Or try double nutting them (1st heat them up, then soak them with PB Blaster - wait 10 min).
I did all 8 of mine, and never broke one... |

| If worse comes to worse and you take the parts off, there are companies that specialize in the removal of studs. One place in Santa Ana California actually disinegrates them and never touch the threads. THAT'S WAY COOL. |
