I am happy with my rebuild engine, BUT, I have this hesitation between 1000 and 2000 RPM. Had the same problem before the rebuild so I don't think I did something wrong.
What should I look at?

| Fuel pressure? New or just cleaned injectors? AFM check out as per the Bentley? New temp sensors? Idle stabilizer unit check out? |

Runability problems like he described leads me to think its electrical...
plug fouled? Bad secondary wires breaking down? Couple of Bosch Plats taking a dump? Toss them if they are Bosch Plats...
Fuel related pressue is a real issue...mid range power break up sounds like
several options,
fuel, electrical (secondary) injectors, coil breaking down under load?
Number of possibilities but would have to eliminate them one by one.. :P |

I checked and replaced plugs,wires, cap, rotor.
Checked valve clearance and compression (140 all four).
Injectors, fuel pressure and AFM are next.
