| which trans is better? is there a big diff in stock gearing ? which one would be better for a baja? |

For sand and dirt go with a Type II Bus gear box. For a daily driver go with a Rancho Type 1 gear box with welded 3 & 4 gears. If you want to run big tires on your Baja like 31's or 33's go with a Type II Bus tranny.
