Just wondering how much grease to give leaves in the tubes?

Stock beam?
First time, keep pumping until grease comes out of the torsion arm seal, it can take a while if the tubes are empty in between the inner and outer bearing.
subsequent(sp) times, pump until clean grease comes out of the torsion seals, replace the grease, dont just top it up.

Edit: or do you mean how much to put on the leaves before putting them in the beam??
I put a thin smear or every leaf before I put them together, to relieve any friction between leaves.
Not sure if this is the right way to do it but.

K, I thought I had read a post about filling the whole tube with grease, seemed a little exstreme.

although, once the beam is completely assembled, you should fill the tubes with grease. most warrior beams i see do not have grease fittings installed from the factory. it is a good idea to drill/tap some holes and install fittings of your own and not rely on the cheezy white grease and urethane to last forever

i put my grease zerks on the back side of my warrior beam. that way they can't be damaged by a rock........

That is waht I was also wondering, What keeps the bushings lubed.
I have considered installing grease fittings but not sure where to put then as far as keeping the bushings lubed, It seems like you would need 2 on each side of the tube, for a total of 8 to get the whole inside lubed up.

nick. i'll post pic is you'll come over and unstop a drain for me....

my 17 year old daughter does my photo posting for me when i can catch her in the right mood.....

i installed a stock width warrior w/ 8" of travel. i drilled/tapped the backside of the beam for the zerks. i got the urethane bushings and ground a hole about 1/2" in diameter to where some of the grease would go inside towards the leaves. when i have the torsions maxed out, the right tie rod will bang the framehead some. :? the ride is kinda stiff with the torsions fully adjusted, so i've backed it off some. the tierod clears too.

now to do the back half. the wife wants to vacation in new orleans and i want to irs the rear suspension.....

Good advice brad, and If your lucky she will stay there, Just kidding. I dont know how you married folk do it, that would drive me crazy. I was just talking with my landlord about something and his wife wont let him do something, anyway lets see some pics if you can herbie. :) That last sentence wa s all screwed up , im drunk.
