A few years ago I bought a Jamar 'Ultra Slide' sliding pedal mount, but never got arount to fitting it.
The time has finally come, but I have a few questions (as usual there weren't any instructions).
1) Does the knob go nearest the driver or towards the front of the car?
2) I presume that I need to disassemble it to bolt the pedals to it?
3) Do I need to space it away from the floor? It has huge bolts protruding downwards that it slides on that will jam if I don't - however the countersunk mounting bolts that they gave me then won't be long enough.

Been outside playing - seems that the knob needs to be closest to the driver for it to fit my leg length, so that's decided.
However, when I mocked up the spacers for underneath, the pedals ended up over an inch higher. This is getting pretty high, and isn't entirely comfortable. Anyone else use this mount? |
