| hello all. heres the story, the window on my 73 standard bug was cracked so I had my buddie who's a glass guy come over &cut me a new one out of some flat laminated saftey glass he had,using my old glass as a template. It seemed as if my old glass had a slight curve to it,& sure as shi! we broke the new piece trying to get it installed.my ? is how much curve is there [if any] to what is supposed to be a flat windshield? thanks, mike |

| You're absolutely correct. There is a slight curve. I have no idea what to tell you other than to just find a replacement genuine VW windshield. |
