Uhhhh.... I'm running old school too. Anyone got some Fox coilovers or maybe some beadlocks they would like to donate?
This "donation thing" is a great idea. Thanks onelowzuki.....haha

If someone could donate a cross-linked wire set I'd send a thanks card.
If this set of seats doesn't come together, get in touch with me.... I may have tracks also.... |

If that's a "Dune Runner", then I may have one as well. Check out the picture and please confirm. What do you know about them? Manufacturer?
I do have two fiberglass seats that came with it--not planning on using them.
Sorry for hijacking the thread...

| Thats exactly what I got,Though I don't know much more then that. I belive they may have been called road runners also but have not verified it yet. I don't have a top though. Would you be willing to draw a diagram in Paint program with some dimensions so I can make one of my own that is close to original as possible. Thats the first one I have seen with a intact top |

How did you reach the conclusion that it is a Dune Runner? Are there any identifying numbers or nameplates? Mine has absolutely nothing that I have been able to find. FWIW, it was on a '65 pan when I got it.
As for the top--I could provide you measurements--but here's the interesting part. It is NOT a canvas/cloth top. It is molded fiberglass, complete with "canvas" sags, texture, and even molded stitching at the seams! No support hoops or braces at all. |

| I researched it on dunebuggyachives.com. And I also joined their message group. Several members i.d. it for me. I forget where else on the web I saw it, but I was at work and could not print or save the page but it also verified what it was. One of the members on the message group said he had some literature on it and was going to copy and send some to me but I haven't heard back from him yet. I got the hoops for a soft top with mine, so they must have offered both (learn something new everyday) I would like the measurments anyway. They must have used the soft top as a mold for the hard top. Since a family member works with fiberglass for a living and I do upholstery, Ithink I will make both for mine |

| I just went out and looked for any marking's again and still found nothing. Do you have any rear view pics of yours, and does yours have steel pipe that curves up from the rear torsion housing to the rear of the body? |

Attached is a rear-view of my buggy. I'll take measurements of the hardtop.
I do not have the piece of metal support you mentioned. I do have a 1" square tubing that runs across the tops of the rear shock towers to support the rear seat area of the body.
The rear seat area has no molded-in battery compartment. PO cut a hole in the seat area and hung a battery from the fiberglass below the seat.
Thanks for the info! Do you know who the mfg is? Fibre Fab is a mfg near me--and about 30 miles from where I purchased the buggy--but I haven't seen anything in their old advertisements to indicate this is one of their products.
