On my 79 superbeetle I took out my dash for paint purposes and I remember how hard it was to pull it out over the ignition key area . I had to really tug and fight to slip it over that area . can anybody tell what I might have been doing wrong? Just wondering if there was a trick or easier way to go back in ?
anybody have a good experiance ?

| Just take off the whole ignition switch assembly. I think it is like only one allen wrench to slide it off!! |
