I have searched but could not find pictures of a dropped bug with ONLY drop spindles.

Everyone seems to have an adjustable beam along with the spindles.

Reason for this is to see if its really worth just going with the spindles, i have this feeling that the 2 1/2 drop wont do much.

Yes i have measured the fender gap and "imagined" what it would look like.

Here's my 56 with 2.5" dropped spindles only. I hope this helps.

man you are the greatest, that sits lower then i expected.

Do you have any rubbing issues with the spindles only?

Thanks! No real rubbing issues with the spindles really, nope! The right tire does rub the fender lip a little on an sharp turn but it's always done that!

Timely topic!
I was considering the same thing on my 56.
Did you lower the rear one notch?
I don't want to slam mine, but a BIT lower would be preferable to stock height IMHO.

Thanks very much (incidently Riff Raff your oval is beautiful!)! The car no longer looks that nice since my mother drove her 92 Cabriolet into the right side thus destroying that door, etc..The whole car really needs to be redone.. But anyways, the rear end is stock height on this car.
