Where is a good place to get these. They are like $28 on most places I have looked. If they are all tall $$ will someone post the length and width of them, so I can fab some?

I was thinking something like this:

Anyone see any design flaws? I figure 2 per reservoir. I think I have the stock up at the shop.

maybe make the outside corner radiuses bigger....

I was kinda trying to avoid serious radiuses. I wanted to make them myself but, I guess I could have my buddy cut them with his water jet. I think your right on the corners.

If your doing it for the bling, I understand. However, I see in your other posts that you are doing some cage work. If looks aren't your only concern, why don't you just build some hard mounts into your cage? Or, there is always urethane mounts that are far less expensive than billet. For what you would save on building or buying billet mounts, you could afford better shocks....lol

I'm definately not doing it for the bling. Any pictures of how people have built hard mounts into the cage? I am all for that. I have the 1/2" stock hanging around so the aluminum mounts wouldn't cost me anything.

On my car, I am running the typical Urethane mounts like these. They are about $8 to $10 bucks a pop, and you can get them in black.

These are pre-made weld on mounts. A lot of guys will also use a chunk of tubing, sliced down the middle to make a saddle. Then just a bracket or a couple welds to the cage and you have a mount.

Another approach I have seen done, is to use the insulated hangers. Here is an example of that.

Very good info. I think I will skip the fab and just get the urethane mount.

my urethane mounts came with the shocks. made for 2" diameter on each side, but they went onto the reservoirs and 1.5" frame just fine

thanks. I didnt realize that they would come with the mounts.
