The last time I drove my 82 Westfalla the last Air Cooled, I ran out of gas and now it will start and run just for a second, then die. I put in a new fuel filter, the pump is pumping like a champ, and was hoping someone may know what these symptoms mean, the next step will be expensive if I just bumble around fixing this and that, anyone ever had this problem before??
Your input will be greatly apprecialte.

Have you measure your fuel pump pressure and volume as per your Bentley?
What kind of numbers are you geting? |

| Try removing the gas cap and blowing back through the tank with compressed air on the fuel feed, not the return, line. |
