| who makes 2" or 3" longer trailing arms? i don't want to go any wider because my front beam is stock width. the only ones i've found are mckenzies and their website has them priced at $575 for 3" longer, mild steel construction. they might be blue flame brand... thanks, scott |

| problems you may run into are CV angles. wider is not only for stability, but also to help reduce the angles on the CV joints, increasing travel. |

Good extended trailing arms aren't cheap... this also starts the entire cycle up chaning trannies, drive axles, torsion bars etc.
We have BeeLines... they were SPENDY... but well worth it. I had cheapies... couldn't ever get the car aligned.

the december, 1999 issue has the article on the prowlers kit.... i just want enough clearance for my 31 inch tires. i'd settle for 1" or 2" longer trailing arms...

1" wider isn't legal in 1/2 1600, or 5 1600, only 1" longer
If your going racing, micro stubs are legal now, expensive, but very trick,
lets you run a 2" longer axle. That means less cv angle with more droop. |
