| was 98 in roseburg yesterday. the 412 wagon took on the heat at 70mph for 20 miles and then into town with stop and go for about 4 miles... no issues at all! car is doing great and my only complaint is that my city mileage sucks... my highway mileage is right at 22mpg which is in the 'normal' range according to the literature. |

| hi vwfye not bad your milage at 22mpg , depend with wat trs. man.4 or auto, i suppose it is aut. but with mt4 you can do appx 28mpg minimum at 60 mi.hrs. on hiway ,,,bb412 |

| ello, vwfye , for my oppignion your car d,t have good ajustment , all the 411-412 can do 10 liters on 100 km. that geeve appx. 28-30 miles gallons if the tire are more large or différent size exp.14 inchs. you can reduce your millage ,curious thing only pacel rack on your roof reduce the mill. for 1-2 miles gallons , during the year 75 my 412-74 manual 4 ,,my car was new and i do ride in florida state (daytona ) 1600 miles from my home and i run on hiway 81-95 and i make with my car 45 mil.gal. ok i keeped the légal spead and i put on neutral in the vermont montagne and white montagne but on the normal trip i doo 30-32 mil.gal. and today with my 412 -mt4 -73 wagon i make 26-28 mil. gal. in averadge 60-70%in the city , and with your auto.trs. you can doo 25-26 mpg and with my 411 -71 aut,trs, that wass appx. same thing a diff. 1-2 mpg ( joke,, your spedometer is correct ) some time he geeve you 10 miles and you make 15 miles in the reality ,,,, look that,, ha,ha,,,,,bb412 |
