Let me introduce myself. Names Carson. Im 19 and have always wanted a sand rail. So I picked one up about a month ago, 1600dp, 5 rib bus swing axle with reduction boxes, rci seats and 5 points, paddle tires, etc etc.
Well I have finally been able to start fixing it up. Do some wiring, fuel lines, throttle cable and then the wheel cylinder blew on the passenger side(only has rear brakes) so I picked up all new parts to redo the entire brake assembly and once i fixed the one side i took apart the other only to find that the whole drum and backing plate are smaller than the pass. side. I am assuming it is beetle parts thrown on for a quick fix but damn, how stupid is that??
