Runs rich at what time? idle or at high speeds? Is your choke working right, and warming up and backing off all the way? If you are running rich at idle, the mixture adjustment is the small screw on the side of the carb. The pilot jet on the right side of the carb can also affect your idle mixture somewhat. At high engine speeds you have to change the main jet and/or the air correction jet to modifiy the mixture. Note: messing with with any of these may create or eliminate "flat spots" on acceleration. I always like to set my jets and idle mixture up on an exhaust gas analyzer, that's the only way to know for sure how well it's running.
