clarification or request....
Would you let us keep a thread going for want to buy or for sale or trade parts etc?
Example.... I've bought/sold/traded about 1/2 our current baja project from forum notes. Almost none of the swaps were from Samba ads .. they were from hints and requests. PPLOCO scored a 20 mile set of chrome rims from me... I scored a set of Bilstein cores from SHMO.... then the roll cage, fox 2.0s, etc.
Different from standard VW stuff... most of us have a stack of parts that we'll never use and won't ever list.... I'll bend over backwards for anyone who's core enough into this to post/reply.
Request --- one sticky thread for parts banter?

| a mention in a related topic is ok. i just dont like to see completely new topics for ads that should be in classifieds. if it's something you want forum people to see, list it for sale or wanted in your signature. for those of you that are not too familiar with signatures, PM me and i'll be glad to help you out |

Thanks for the fast reply.
On the STF side we had to squelch some of the bartering etc.... I normally let active posters hint toward a wish list if it's within reason and controlled.
Normally I'll invite people to a PM if it's mentioned... I'm aware the H20 VW boards are bombarded with mail order places and porn sites
Duh--- I'm a goof ball for not adding the wish list to my signature... unfortunately each of my postings would become 10 pages long with our fleet.... will take your advice. |
