Dang Uber congrats on becoming the 411/412 Mod!

Ah, thank you. Feel free to add any parts sources I have forgotten!

Looks as if you got most of the good ones covered. A good source for correct stock rims would be helpful. Remember GHIA rims came on these cars, NOT the standard Beetle type.

I have heard the offset is different on the porsche rims as well, will any of these fit? I have a set of 914 rims, thinking of using as spares..

I think the porsche 914 rims are the same offset as Ghia/412 rims.

Good, I wondered if I would ever have a use for them! Man I cannot wait to come down and pick that thing up, have even thought about blowing off the family reunion! Hope you get some good news today!

Hmmm...not entirely sure of the 914 offset differences, but I've seen pictures of the 5.5" wide 914 steel wheels on a 412, so they must work. Was the 914 offered with both 4.5" and 5.5" steel wheels?

I have NOS and used Type 4 parts and complete parts cars. I will be selling everything off in the next few months.

FYI - found a 72 at a U-pull-it in PDX.

The panels were in great shape and the engine + trans were there. Though, I pulled the dizzy, coil, and alternator.
