I have 3 beetles at the moment and i have 4 people interested in one of my beetles but i dont really know how much i should ask for it. its a 62 baja with with a strong 1600cc dp (not in it) and a swing axil. it has a fresh baja kit that is fit on it but has not been painted. all good glass. new floor pans. the back of the passenger heater channel could use some patching and there is a whole in the front passenger wheel well. both of which i have the repair pannels for. other than those 2 spots it is rust free. there is a 4 point roll cage already installed made to mount the rear suspension to. all thats there in the interior is front seats and a headliner. I live in the STL missouri area... anyone have an idea of its worth? please let me know its worth and what you guys would pay for something in its condition.

$250 if it's a project....

$500-1000 if it's a driver

$1000-5000 if it's a show car

$5000+ if it's totally tricked out

best bet would prolly be to install the motor & make it work, then sell it for say $1500-1700/offer. Your problem is this... If there arent many baja people around, it may sit for a while. But if theres guys building bajas, it'll move. Without a motor in it she prolly aint worth much. No PROOF that it'll run after installing it. Anyhooters- thats my 3cents, even if its only worth 1

I just bought one without an engine... $400... the seller wanted to keep the engine.

Pop one of ours in and run it.

What happened to giving it to a needy kid?

That's what it's being used for --- I get them to young guys for re-do projects.... ... we have a few spares aircooleds around.... I don't have time to work on my own stuff without taking on more bodywork

Sam's doing a body-off... Maggie's doing a full-body... Ian's doing a body off... Connor will do a baja shortly... I'm meeting with Shay this week to set him up with a Westy.... Roller dave is doing a chop for his daughter... Dan did a westy interior swap.

IF any kids in the Midwest read this and want a rail --- I've got a free torsion bar setup --- can deliver.

In MN it's easy to find parts... young new comers normally end up buying a car that's WAY overboard with channels, pans etc.
