Pulling all the suspension off of my 71 Bug pan. What size/type socket/wrench is needed for the cv bolts and the trailing arm pivot?

On the few cars that I have taken apart, you may find a mixture of allen head bolts and 12pts on your cv's. Also, some may be so stubborn and boogered that you need to use a cold chissel and hammer to hit them at an angle and break them loose.

The CV bolts can be hard to remove sometimes. Clean out the socket good and use a vice grip on outside along with CV allen tool above and even the tight ones come loose, Vic
