| Pulling all the suspension off of my 71 Bug pan. What size/type socket/wrench is needed for the cv bolts and the trailing arm pivot? |

| On the few cars that I have taken apart, you may find a mixture of allen head bolts and 12pts on your cv's. Also, some may be so stubborn and boogered that you need to use a cold chissel and hammer to hit them at an angle and break them loose. |

Help on putting it back together -> Suspension "Rear" Adjusting Torsion Bars <> http://www.1800vw.bizhosting.com/rearsuspension.htm
The CV bolts can be hard to remove sometimes. Clean out the socket good and use a vice grip on outside along with CV allen tool above and even the tight ones come loose, Vic |
