I saw this and thought, "damn glass bodied cars are still gay". But, this one is pretty farkin cool in all reallity. I think if a guy could hacksaw off those elephant ear fenders, or at least trim them down a foot or two, it would be a bitchen ride. It has the LS1, longtravel and everything. You glass guys should take note.

those elephant ear fenders abide by state laws requiring the tires to be covered completely

Dirt Junkie Mon Aug 01, 2005 8:10 pm

I agree.

SHMO Mon Aug 01, 2005 8:18 pm

Ya, but can we all agree that they look gay too?

you guys are getting nit picky with me. I think the real beadlocks, harness seatbelts and lazerstar lights might throw up some red flags for Johnny law.....lol

dammit, now you got me thinking. i will say that i respect their functionality with regards to the aesthetics of the vehicle

SHMO Mon Aug 01, 2005 8:34 pm

Case closed, they're ugly and you agree. I knew I was right the whole time.

I dont like them either, The fenders look like something from a Sci-Fi movie. Although if they make it street legal then I guess its must be.

Buggin MT Mon Aug 01, 2005 9:35 pm

what about those volks-rods & such? they dont have much in the way of wheel coverings...

 P.S. WHATS WITH THE CHEVY EMBLEM ON THE HOOD?

Heeeeeeeey,

it's only 68 grand for the one I want! All I have to do is cut the fenders off and sell a kidney for the down payment.

that will be very fun to drive it!

i like the wheel 's travel and the rear coil over.
here in europe we don't have sand buggy like this!

Dirt Junkie Tue Aug 02, 2005 1:15 am

I was agreeing that they look bad. It looks like it would fly if you went too fast. They need to cut them off!! What are they afraid of a little sand in the face?

airbag_89 Tue Aug 02, 2005 2:17 am

I've seen one a while back they do look goofy in the pictures, but are nice in person.

Tim10 Tue Aug 02, 2005 3:20 am

have to differ ... those fenders are tough to get over... if they were styled better maybe a different thing.
