What if I want to post a pic of it in the Sun? or Rain? Any other specific thread details a guy should know? Sorry.
Well apparently y'all get bent when asked to post something where it belongs like an adult, some times we forget the true age of some on here.
thanks for playing |

mostly because single stage normally only has one-three coats and it will burn through too easily
also it might take too much of the metallic out of the paint when you sand it |

| Certainly an interesting thought... I'll try it on a tail light housing first to see what happens! That's still a few months away though |

Yesterday, following Saturday's 8" snowfall here in Southern Connecticut (the Bug sits in the garage--the Taurus does not)...

I found a few of these in the woods in bad shape. I know where there is one that is a driver as well. They are very cool vehicles.
Swedish designed with German guts. |

Back in the mid-late 90's there was a gathering of several of these at the Vintage Meet in Shoreline. |

Joe, any PP on those? It's hard to keep snow scenes from blowing out, especially with a white car.
Either way, very nice! |

The daily (Fortunately I didn't have to go anywhere that day, so I just had a bit of fun driving around a few streets close to home).

Woke up to this on Saturday. Not much snow but it sure was frozen solid. Only 60 miles from home and absolubtly NO heater.
After the weak morning sun thawed most of it out I got the roof down. Trappers hat, fingerless gloves, big coat, shades and a defiant grin.
Roll on summer :! |

About an inch and a half of wet, slushy snow fell overnight here in Southern Connecticut. Drove the '70 Bug out for a few photos, but didn't drive too far, since I don't trust the town not to have salted the roads. Not too much snow around here this winter, so this was kind of a rare occurrence, and worth photo-documenting a bit...
