Just got home from HCBF9. It was amazing. I had gone to the first one so many years ago and had a good time then as well. The weather was great for camping, nice in the day, 60's at night. Every where you looked there were buses. The Full Moon Bus Club did a great job, Buddah was the lead "moonie"
Thats my tan vanagon with the shower curtain in the first pic. My baywindow broke down in the driveway as we were leaving. It's a fuel/ignition problem I think. Real quick, my wife and I put all the stuff into the vanagon. Sunday was a carabus up to the Blueridge Pkwy, about 70 busses took part.

No doubt!! If I died and ended up there, I would be a 'happy camper'. Best part is, I don't have to die to get there....where was that again? Is it an annual event? What a blast!!! Thanks for the pics!!

Looks fun. I like the tarp over that Westy in the pic, nice to know I'm not the only one with a leaky roof :oops: :lol:

Sorry to skip some details. HCBF has been going for nine years in the same location, Grandfather Mountain Campground, just south of Boone,NC. As mentioned, it is hosted by the full moon bus club. Check out their web site at www.fullmoonbusclub.com
Plans are underway for HCBF 10.If you are on the east coast, you should try to make it. It really is cool(temp and style) in the high country of NC.

I just read my post and realised that I may have confused some folks. There were 172 registered buses for the weekend. About 70 of those went on the carabus.

Looks sweet. There is a nice list of events on the site as well. Wish my van was running and not waiting on parts this weekend.
