well thanks to you guys and russ wolfe the square is finally running a little cooler. a note to all if you have a late FI engine and it is missing the little tins that go around the spark plugs then use the rubber boots to seal them it will run a lot hotter. mine went from 260 to 230 on the oil temp. it always amazes me how such tinny little tins could make such a big difference. |

More proof positive that if the engineers put it there, they had a reason! :wink:

do a search of my posts or ask russ wolfe for a pic of them. he has one posted in his photos somewhere. yesterday i set it a little rich so we will see if that helps too. i noticed when i leaned it out a little it ran a bit hotter. still not sure why this thing runs hot but i am getting closer to being able to make the invasion next year. |
