Does anybody have any good picture of the correct holes for early-52 split in the front behind the sparewheel. My holes were so deformed so I have no idea how they should look like. I've seen bothe square shaped and oval shaped. Which is the correct hole shape and what is the measurement for that one??
Here is my front in work in progress:

Thank you! :D
Is the square sheetmetal with the oval-shaped holes welded to the body?
If it is not much trouble I would be happy if you would take some measurements too.
Once again Thank you! :D |

A Finnish collegue of mine gave the size of the steelplate underneath the bolt.
It should read: 40x43mm and 1,5mm thick. The hole is 13x20mm and flared downwards. The sheetmetal beneath is also flared upwards and an ovalshaped steeltube is fitted inside under the upper steelplate.
Finally the plate is spotwelded.
Thank You! :D |
