greetings all....
so then, a while back in hot vw's magazine saw an article on a type 1 with type iv motor. the fan on this motor was postioned horizontally (like a helicopter) and not vertically as usual. anyone know where i can get such a fan and housing????

| Did it use a Porsche fan? I've seen a setup like that for sale before. I doubt it would work very well, but I'll find a link to some point this evening. |

| FYI- Somebody on the STF was telling me that this "Corvair" type setup w/Porsche fan setup was pioneered by Reichert Tuning in the '70's. Supposedly, it cools sufficiently as the guys at LA Performance said they haven't had any problems with it. I'd like to see some test numbers showing CHT's myself. |
