I do make them, correct size and finish, in paper. I have about 4 sets in line right now. I only do these in batches about once a year, process is very disruptive in the shop here so its all I do for about a week, which is why I don't advertise them, like alot of other things. Next batch is scheduled for mid October. Price for a set finished ready to install is $225 plus shipping.

Alot of folks will patch up what they have if they are lucky still enough to have the originals, most of the time they can be saved, you can do a little paper mache technique to patch the holes, big dents are hard to remove, you may have to cut them out and then patch. The paper layers around the end tend to separate so you can squeeze in some elmers glue between the layers and clamp the edges with paint stirrers to create a nice straight edge, the elmers wood glue is the trick. You can then sand as needed around the new patch seams, use some wood filler patch as you need to for any remaining pits, scratches, etc., then prime and lay down a couple light coats of paint inside and out. It can be tedious work but very rewarding when you take the time to do it right. I restore them here for customers, its basically labor and sometimes it gets expensive depending on how bad the original condition.

Hey Hebster!
Can you send some pics of the boxes, if I remember right mine are quite bad in shape.
Being located in Finland doesn't scare me, altough some Finns can be a bit scary :)

What you're asking for are glove box doors. I think what everyone else is talking about is the glove box itself (the box behind the glove box door)... |

Seen them sell on Samba for 200 bucks a glove box, and not in very nice shape, the cloth on the boxes have to be replaced usually anyways. But I do have the cloth if they want it out of another box I have.
