I sat around and watched too much football today, so I didn't get the beam out of the car. But at least I got the new vertical/diagonal braces welded in. I know it's not the ideal location vs. making the tube meet the A pillar, but I didn't want to cut more holes in the body.

| Looks like you put a coat of black on that bender too. I don't remember it being painted when you had it at my place in April... |

I spent the day removing the suspension, steering, and beam. I used the rust remover on the beam and got is ready for paint.

Woo hoo!!! A free weekend! Two days to work on the car... I can't stop saying how much I like this Must For Rust stuff. It really does make it a lot easier.

It's official. I HATE weld splatter/berries... Such a pain to clean up! here are a couple shots after cleaning up the welds a bit.
It's really starting to look good with some primer on the cage! Makes it feel like a new car all over again. Except without all the rust...

 You'd better keep the over-spray away from the new washer and dryer!
Nature's Patina is nice and all, but you're car deserves some paint. Keep it coming! |

I had to put the beam and front bumper in place to see how it looks... man, that's a bunch of blue!!! I hope all the other components tone it down some when assembled...

| Those are amber side lights for the turn signals. I had to use 12v bulbs as load lights to get the "no load" blinker to work. It was made for LED's, but 25 LED's wouldn't make it flash. I had to use those for the load to make them work. |

My question was.... was the unit plug & play from the box, or was a seperate antenna needed to make it work? As i have researched this product, the net keeps advising me of a needed antenna.... |
