Did early (pre-52) Verts come with other than cloth upholstary (assessory)??
If they did, what finish and colours were offered?

Early Split dash verts certainly did come in other upholstery combinations.My October '51 Karmann Kabriolet has a Red leather interior and this is definetly correct and original even though the birth certificate said it had a leatherette interior.
This car was delivered to Hoffman VW in New York so it might have been a special order or option?. |

Ok, how about beige or ivory leather/leatherette with dark piping as on this Hebmüller. Should it be beige, ivory or other? And the piping is it black, dark grey or other?
