Alken's were made in the late 50s and early 60s. I have some sales brochures and magzine articles. I have seen pictures of tree of them to date.

I'm wondering if anybody on this site has seen them? For an early fiberglass car I thought they had some nice, kind of Batmobile, styling

Hey Jeff I have an Alken that I found and need to restore. I'm trying to find out more about them myself and welcome any exchange of information. I wonder if any body involved with there production in (1957) Venice California is still around?

Still looking for an Alken. I heard that there was a yellow one around the DC area.

If there is one in DC I've never seen it in the Carlisle kti car show the past 8 years or so I've been going. The car looks like a Studebaker Lark and a Ghia put together, I have a pict but my server's offline. Sorry, not much info from me today...

I saw the Alken for sale in one of the rags that advertise old cars. I lost the ad however. When I called the person he said that he was after it for years. It was not road worthy.

I have seen this "Electric Alken" before. It makes one of three that I have seen (pictures).

The one in DC or VA was yellow in color with a yellow top and roll up doors. The owner threw away the fiberglass seats because he thought that they were not original.

It was some type of shop that bought the car. Seems like it was for sale in 2003 or 2004 for $5000,

I finally found a picture of another Alken I found for sale about 2 years ago. It was in North Carolina. Still looking for one of these Alkens if someone finds one.
