Uploading pics kills the page load time. Just a suggestion.

I like it the way it is, you can add pics to your questions instead of having to link them and hope people look. I do have cable not dial up though

I think it would be nice to be able to see the pic that someone is referring to right away. Just as long as people don't start adding huge pictures to their signatures, I think it will be ok.

I vote NO, that shit will get carried away, just like on other sites (Volkszone in particular)

Links are good enough... if your interested you will go see it... IMHO anyway.

it is kinda nice to see them right away, but we didn't before and it was fine. it gets really bad when people do quotes, the pics are included, then you have one fukin post per page. i do have cable so load time isn't an issue.

also everett, is there anyway to have all the posts or at least more posts per page? i think that was definately a good thing in the old one. i personally think it's a pain in the ass to have to go back pages to see the previous posts.

Ok, so after hearing your points...I guess it doesn't matter to me either way. I don't mind clicking a link if need be. Also, I agree about the number of posts per page. It can get sort of troublesome.

I can see both sides of the argument. I think I will wait and see if it becomes a problem.

I increased the posts per page from 15 to 20. I don't want to make it too large because dial-up people will be screwed.

Well I just have to say that I have a rather slow dail-up but so far these pages load faster than the old style forums. Even on Volkszone it loads rather quickly. I like to see the pics also but not in the signature.

My 2 cents worth... :)

I don't mind clicking on a link for a picture, especially when it opens in it's own window that you can close after you're done looking like the samba does. Jeremy

Yeah, I am definitely a fan of the links opening in a new window. Then again, a right-click of the mouse can do that for ya too..

I vote for haveing pics on page.. makes it alot easier. but maybe limit file size. thats how it is done on my other nonVW ..(yes they are out there) forums..
