Hi,

I've recently acquired my first split - a 65 deluxe microbus from sunny California. I had a beetle a few years ago and was a member of a VW club in Rochdale. My life moved on and I drifted away from the scene - but a passion for VW never really leaves you, it just lies dormant for a while!

I enjoyed the VW shows and club life etc and want to re-kindle some of that now I have my dream vehicle.

Only thing is, there doesn't seem to much of a VW scene local to myself(certainly in Rossendale). I might be wrong so would like to know about anything anyone is getting up to in the Rossendale/Burnley area. OR if anyone would be interested in meeting up and starting something. Maybe to meet once a month and cruise to the shows next year - club stand etc.

I'm in chorley, not too far from rossendale and burnley, i;ve had my first split since feb and she's got me to brighton breeze and back this year which i was made up about! lol

it'd be cool to have someone to travel to shows and stuff with so if you organise anything let me know.

Cool, sounds like a plan. Brighton Breeze definitely on the cards for next year (once we've got thru the MOT)

New to this forum, hence the posts :roll:

However, I'm a member of Bug Nutz based in Bury (I live in Ramsbottom)

I was a member of the Rochdale club about 10 years ago or so AND will probably/may know some of our members as they went also

Well, technically I have a house there as Ive been working away since December and amn't around as much as I'd like.

I've got a 68 bay and three beetles stashed away in various corners of the valley...
