You can also go with a 4 lug wheel but not much to chose from in them.

You da' man! I will check first thing tomorrow on possible re-drill on current rotors & cost. Will keep you posted.

I really like the BRM's....very Cal-Look :D

Thanks again for all your help.

Yes the BRMs are cool that is what I have on mine. They are a wide five pattern which will not fit on the disk brake hubs. They do make the 4 lug ones but they dont have that classic look. I dont like them as much.

Yes keep me posted on what you do . Or if you have any other ? 8)

Hey Nut :D

I am happy to report that my 65 Sunroof is back on the road. Thanks for all your help. Here's what I ended up doing:

Took entire front-end out, just needed to do some recon to see what I actually had......Turns out that the PO did a number AGAIN  The 4 1/2 inch beam was indeed that, good news. Bad part was he mixed Standard and Metric while putting beam together. More specifically he "pressed" in the bushings so tight that into the beam that nothing was able to give. I removed everything, honed out both sides of the beam about 6 inches in, shaved up the bushing a bit, cleaned everything up and put all back together. Also, while out notched further the selecta-drop cut-out for more range ..........WOW what a difference. Ride is sweet and stance is perfect :!:

It got me my 1 1/2 inches vertically so now the finder lip is perfect height over the tire.....me like. The ride is very nice now the the shocks are not bottoming out on the frame, go figure

Installed the new Procar Seats today.....very cool. Had to think outside the box though. Because of the rollbar the seats did not fit. The seat-back adjuster hit the bar so I thought, hum, what if I switch the seats. It worked perfectly cuz it bought me another inch. Just don't tell anyone I have my passenger seat on the driver's side and vise-versa

Plan to complete my windows and stereo system (wiring is all done) and then it's off for padding/carpet install.

Hope to be complete in 30 days and will post pics in my Gallary.

Thanks all.

Cool man , Sounds great . Post up some pics. :D :D

Ok 8)

Its pretty basic to build , It fits the inside of tyhe beam , And has a square in the middle same as the torsion slot on the control arms. Then has a hole in one side that is threaded to hold the bolt that you see sticking out the side.

Yes you can replace the whole front end with lowered components and save your OG beam if you want to put it back.

Figure out the look you want, ride hight , wheels, etc. Then figure out how to get that look. Alot of people get out there buy parts then start to figure they have bought the wrong stuff for the look they want.

Here is a great link to get you started.

This is not so much a technical question, as it is a commercial request. I've got a 2" narrowed adjustable front end, with CB 2.5" drop spindles. I feel my car is too low, even though some of you will argue. My stock GR-2's were riding bottomed out of course, so I took them off. It rides okay with just the BugPack 3/4" sway bar, but I wan tto put shocks back on it. Other than the empi lowered shocks, are there any good quality lowered shocks out there that I can use on this application. Any help as to where to shop would be great. Thanks Samba.
