Just bought a 72 Super and the kid I bought it from lowered the front end by cutting the coil spring.
My kids think it looks cool (and it does) but the ride is very hard.
I'd love to raise it back to normal.
To see the kid's prject and the final results, go to

Remove the front wheel. Look close at the strut itself. If you see small indented rings around the strunt housing, this will be inside the spring then they are adjustable.
Go to www.toplineparts.com and search there pictures or I will put the link of a picture of and adjustble strut

Get the Robert Bentley shop manual. It's the same as replacing the struts, you just use shorter ones.

So i just installed my sport+ springs from Topline today after many setbacks i got 'em in but i noticed that i have mismatched struts and the driver side has no pressure left i mean you pull it up and it drops like a ton of bricks. just wondering how long i should allow to change both they have basicly both been completly apart w/ the exception of pulling the cartridge out of the housing. and also what are some good struts to replace them w/. I do have the EMPI 8 spokes so i am limited as to how low i can go.

Are the springs you got from topline the lowered sport springs? If they are then you need lowered strut inserts. Springs alone are not the way to lower it.

well they arent really lowering springs from what i understand they can lower the car up to 1.5" but mainly i am trying to get the car to handle less like a mini van. so i have a feeling that by replacing my struts that will help a good bit. also are there any shorter struts that i could use that would fit in the stock housings. or should i just go for 944 struts?

You cant put lowered struts into stock housings.
If you want it to handle better put lowered struts and get the big sway bar from Topline.
Also there is a strut tower support that you can get from Topline
These will help the handling.
Also a little wider tire helps as well.

Whe you lower the rear of a super, do the wheels tilt in like the camber is way off? Or is that only on the standards?

I used all Topline components. Adj struts, sway bay, urethane bushings, caster plates and camber adjusting bolts. Works great :)
