| She's going to be my daily driver until I finish up school. After that I'm going to fix her up. I'm still deciding what I want her to look like when I'm finished. Right now I'm leaning toward a resto-custom look. |

I checked your profile, it says you are a mechanical engineering student. I graduated from Georgia Tech back in 1981 (before you were born). It looks like your are going to Tech if so you will not regret it (now you may not think so but you will see).
Good luck at school. Oh and chances are University of Miami will kick our butt at football tomorrow. That is ok, they end up working for us later :D |

Cool. How much did you pay? If you don't mind me asking.
Looks clean. The air cleaner isn't original though. |

It looks like a 72 engine.
A 74 engine would have a different air cleaner and it's missing the EGR setup. Of course the 009 and blue coil are not stock. |

Yup. Looks like the holes in the tin are still there from the EGR system.... |

I payed $2200 for it. Yeah I figured it was a different engine because the air cleaner doesn't look like those in the '74 owners manual. It had the 009 and H4 headlights on it when I bought it ... lucky find! I'm still surprised at the shape of the body. Besides a few small spots of surface rust, the car is virtually rust free.
Oh and Glenn, nice pic of the RS. That's my ultimate dream car. Oh and no roof rack is in the planning  . |

| I'm planning on taking Cassie home for Thanksgiving. Maybe then I can get some photos of Cassie and Gigi together. This will be the first time they have met, but I think they'll get along nicely. They can catch up on their lives since the factory. |

Just some updates:
So far I've painted the front fender, fixed the parking brake, and am in the process of rebuilding the carb. I've discovered that it has a Solex 30 PICT-II carb ('68-'69) on a '72 motor in a '74 body.
I've pretty much decided what I want to do to her:
Light metallic blue paint, EMPI-style 8-spoke wheels, dropped spindles, swaybars, disk brakes, mild 1776cc engine rebuild w/ Weber carbs, new interior (white vinyl) |

| CarreraRS2.7 are you going to GT? If yes do you keep the car at school? I graduated from there and I go to Atlanta quite often, maybe I get to see Cassie on my next trip. |

I'm actually going to Southern Polytech in Marietta. I drive through Atlanta on the way to and from work though, so you might see it around. |
