Restored on the inside and patina on the outside.
Nothing like original paint on a Blue Screamer. |

| I just received a beautiful rebuilt 010 Bosch distributor from Glenn. It is absolutely beautiful as though it were new, and I am old enough to remember when they were new. Thank you Glenn your good work is tremendously appreciated. |

I had a customer send a distributor to me for checkout since the seller claimed it was "rebuilt".
From the seller's ad:
Quote: This is for a nice rebuilt and rebushed bosch 022 dist. with cap and rotor in awsome shape any questions call....
At first look there was way too much vertical movement in the shaft and the points insulator was made from card stock. I took it apart and found hardware washers used instead of the correct fiber washers. The insides were filthy and the advance gummed up. It was clearly not rebuilt and the bushings were the original ones.
Homemade/hardware store parts
Filthy parts. These pictures were taken after soaking in my parts washer for 6 hours.
Same one in the ad.
My picture.
[/img]
Here's what it should look like.
Correct fiber washer from Bosch.
New insulators for the points.
Just be warned that some people's definition of "rebuilt" is not what you think it is. |

Just got my distributor back from Glenn. Wow! what a difference in performance from my old 009. This is the second distributor I've bought from Glenn and it's outstanding. Throttle response is instant and shifts quicker and smoooooth as butter :D
Thanks again Glenn,
Mike

| As though Glen doesn't have enough positive feed back. Anyway this has been a long time coming. I sent Glenn a 010 dizzy earlier this spring. I shipped it to him on a Tuesday from Montana, had rebuild pics (both process and finish product) in my inbox by Friday, and the kick ass dizzy was @ my door by Monday. I don't even know how that's possible!! You rock Glenn. |

| Asked Glenn for a price quote to rebuild my 019. He responded the next day. I shipped out the 019 and he let me know when the distributor arrived. He disassembled, cleaned and sent me pics of the overhaul. I received the 019 within a few days. Excellent work and highly recommended! :D |

The above post was actually a bit early.......sent the mo eyes order today....let him know it was in the mail via email a little later.....driving home I checked my email on my Droid and there was a message from the delivery service telling me that my package was ready to ship and to inform the person sending the package if the shipping address they had needed to be changed.........unbelievable! He doesn't even have the money order and the 010 is already ready to go! Not only did he work with my slow ass but he's in lightning mode with the delivery..........Glenn, you are indeed a gentleman and a scholar....!
Thank you very much, sir! |

| Every company can't do that. First off i'm a one man shop, secondly my low production means I generally don't have a backlog and I can take my time working on each one. Finally i've never been ripped off so I can afford to trust people. |
