Great guy to work with. I mailed him a distributor the Wednesday the 15th, he got it the 16th and had it apart already. I received it back on Monday the 20th.

Super fast service, and quality work! I would recommend him to anyone!

Thank you Glenn for a great transaction. Shipping and packing were great. Glenn even provides a document to help ensure your new dizzy gets installed correctly.

although i didn't purchase an 019 from Glenn, he was super helpful in giving advice on the components i needed to convert from electronic back to single point.

stand up guy.

Ok, so here's how it went down:

Email sent to Glenn with queries
Email received with recommendation
Total Price Calculated
Paypal Sent

All this occurred within a matter of minutes......seriously!

Glenn sent the package that afternoon on the way home from his day job. Emailed me the tracking number.

I just received an immaculate 019 from Glenn. I live in Hong Kong currently and Glen handled this as flawlessly as if we had been talking face-to-face. The distributor arrived in this foreign land in 5 days and it looks AWESOME!

I've read many of Glen's posts over the years and he is always giving of his time to the VW community. He doesn't need to pimp his goods as anyone who has done business with him is happy to pimp for him. Seriously a great transaction from someone who knows his distributors.

Cheers mate!

I just wish the $900 beam that I've been waiting on to arrive from San Ramone (since Sep!) would go this easily.........................

Gotta love USPS Global Express.

Damn, that was quick.

Glad you're happy with it. When the engine is done, send me some pictures.

Glenn bought a NOS 36 horse vacuum canister from me. Fast payment, and good communication. Glenn is definitely a great guy on the samba to deal with.

Needed points, condenser, rotor & cap as back up for my Bosch 010 and sent a inquiry to Glenn for parts availability on Thursday 3/28. I received a response in 8 minutes. Deal was struck in two more e-mails, sent PayPal and everything was sent the next morning and arrived in today's mail!!! That's N.Y. to Oregon in less than two business days!!!

Quick and concise with everything securely packaged...

Many thanks to Glenn "speedy" Ring...

Emailed Glenn for suggestion for my big bore kit 1200 to replace the 009 I have been running before the displacement upgrade. In a matter of a couple days, I had a beautiful 019 from him.

Initially was slightly disappointed in how the car ran, but when I did the top end rebuild I replaced the degreed pulley with a stock one. Yesterday afternnon I double checked my marks I made for 28-30-32 degrees. I was retarded 2 degrees, so I was only set at 26 degrees full advance

Readjusted timing, took family out to dinner (4 adults). Well - have to have everyone treated for whiplash due to the massive acceleration

Well - not really, but the car runs awesome. Smooth - good idle, pulls really well. This was the perfect solution for me. His work is top notch and the fast ship time was great. Thanks!!!!!!!!!

(Now if he only rebuilt German SVDAs.....)

I have rebuild a few but the problem is getting the advance plate that the points mount to out. Many times is seize in and if you pry too hard you can bend the plate. There's 2 plates, one fixed and the other is moved by the vacuum canister. If they are both not perfectly flat will bind and not work correctly. There are also a few plastic parts that are often cracked or broken and replacements are not available. Luckily new vacuum canisters are available from ac.net.

If you have one that needs work we can discuss via email.

Now that Bosch no longer makes new Mexican ones, rebuilding old ones might be a better option than the aftermarket crap that's out there.
