| I saw those in the gallery last night and it had me green with envy. Makes me want to cut out perfectly good floor pans and weld in some brand new ones just to keep up. Nah.. |

I wanna know how he shortened those pans without so much as a warp or weld seam???

It almost doesn't look real.
Glad you like the pans . Real nice to get your feed back .They were butt welded with a tig welder . The fit before welding was so close that very little weld rod was needed , rather just fusing the seam together Any warpage was then hammered out with a hammer and wood backing block to prevent oil canning the metal. |

Wish I could hve done it with a 3D computer graphics program - probably would have been a lot easier . Not sure if it would have been as rewarding though . |

Mvovr - thankyou for the feedback . I hope to finish it up this month and will post more photos when I get some . Still have to install the body , wire harness ,seats ,but it's getting close . |
