I have a dune buggy that has a 68 type 3 engine. The PO ripped out the FI and never got it running again. Ive got a stock solex carb and cross tube from a bug but my intake castings are to short to clear my oil cooler are there intakes that are taller and where can I buy them.

dual port engine or single port?
stock manifolds should clear the stock cooler. |

he's got type 1 stuff. it's too close to the engine to clear the flat oil cooler on a type 3.
not sure if a manifold exists that will let you use the carb you have, unfortunately. |

He just needs a dual carb set up for a '67 T-3. Or from England or Germany. Where they didnt use FI.
Or get some after market dual carbs, Kadron's or Webbers, etc. |

| you could try to swap sides with your endcastings. i beleive they will clear the oil cooler that way |
